CKO - always a good Idea since 2011
CKO GmbH is a medium-sized machine and systems engineering company that was founded in 2011. Since then, we have been developing, designing and producing at our site in Solingen-Ohligs.
The two managing directors Joachim Kaldasch and Andreas Ostgathe have known each other for a good decade. Their professional paths have crossed again and again and so they have continuously developed and realised the idea of the joint company.
CKO has always grown with new tasks and challenges: from a small, manageable production facility to a well-organised company with its own departments for the individual divisions.

Joachim Kaldasch

Joachim Kaldasch is a trained machine fitter and has trained over the years to become an industrial foreman and state-certified mechanical engineering technician. He has been working in sales since 2006 and enjoys working with people. For him, respect and a positive attitude form the basis for successful co-operation.
Andreas Ostgathe
CEO
Construction is a passion for Andreas Ostgathe – he is in love with details. From the idea to CAD planning. The prototype and then the anticipation of creating something new. Andreas Ostgathe worked in the mechanical engineering and design industry long before founding CKO. He therefore knows the components available on the market inside out.

The city of Solingen has a long tradition in the manufacture of blades for knives, scissors and other metal products. The “Made in Solingen” brand is recognised far beyond the Bergisches Land region and stands for quality and craftsmanship worldwide. Many innovative companies are based in the region, meaning that the blade city of Solingen offers industry and trade good opportunities for the future and development.
We feel a strong connection to our company location, but we also always look outwards. We observe exciting processes in the field of Industry 4.0, maintain a close dialogue with the industry and integrate innovative components directly into our customised solutions.
We rely on our experience and tried-and-tested systems and equip our product developments, test benches and ergonomic industrial workstations with state-of-the-art, future-oriented technology as required.
