We manufacture high-quality cavities for encapsulated test parts for you
The CKO team designs and manufactures customised cavities for you and designs test procedures to the highest quality standards. Both in terms of the precision of the results and in terms of ergonomics and optimised test part holding for leak testing of encapsulated test parts. This test procedure is also referred to as a bonnet test or bell test.
The clamped cavity shown here consists of two halves and an exact and contour-true negative replica of the test part.
After inserting the test part into the cavity, it is pressurised. If the test part is leaking, the leakage-related pressure loss into the interior of the test part is measured.
With our 3-axis CNC machining centre, we can carry out elaborate and complex turning and milling work automatically and with absolute precision in-house. For programming, we rely on the CAD/CAM software CAMWorks, which is integrated into SolidEdge.
